Launch Engineering Intern, SpaceX
  • Experienced hands on work with engineers and technicians for various flight and non-flight hardware

  • Designed new optimized processes and GSE for landing leg crush core swaps to reduce costs by $800k

  • Reprogramed and tested new tooling to increase removal speed of AFT shield caps and raceway covers

  • Produced extensive issue based planning on the various systems of a Falcon 9 booster for re-flight

Turbine Design Intern, Rolls-Royce
  • Performed engine tolerance stack ups and design analysis to incorporate innovative CMC parts

  • Produced detail mission lifing studies on turbine blades to assess potential failure modes of both commercial and military applications

  • Navigated daily on Teamcenter and NX to perform quality checks on legacy parts and latest designs

  • Completed PLM and GD&T oriented classes to ascertain the preferred techniques of the industry

  • Investigated manufacturing issues to obtain origin of the quality control issues that were very costly to company

Engineering Intern, GE Aviation

  • Programmed comprehensive visual analysis tools using VBA and MatLab to identify lost flight data and find communication trends across all engine fleets

  • Identified engine problem/failure event trends and created advance algorithms to predict such events across the fleet to save clients millions of dollars

  • Managed daily global calls with foreign clients (Brazil, China, France, Dubai) about fleet wide technical issues with LEAP and CFM engines

    • Provided feedback from recent data analysis to ensure engine reliability for clients
